Boat + waves = LOL *vid*
Took the boat for a spin again today, I noticed my strut was poining down heaps, so i started toying around with the angle. I was amazed at how much different its handles at different angles!! Once i got bored of playing with that, and the drive was pointing sky high, i decided to walk 50m from the estuary to the beach and have a play in the waves.
Was quite fun doing jumps on the waves, managed to flip the boat twice unfortunatly, after the second flip the pullstarter packed up...

It really handled it pretty well, I thought you might have more problems than you did. It was fun to watch as I have never seen any videos in that type conditions before. by the way, that sure was a beautiful location.

It sure is, heres a couple of pics from jsut before we put the boat in the water. Actually, Its the estuary we were running in b4 we went over to the sea side.

OK - now I am definately jealous. I love NZ and am really kicking myself for not exploring more of the north Island when I had the chance. I was in Auckland for almost a month some time ago. I have since returned and did a road trip and cruise around the south Island which I would move to in a heart beat (though not sure NZ wants any more Aussies there).
That has to be one of the nicest spots I have seen - rolling hills and crystal clear waters.
