Hi Res, something I noticed is your pond appears to be very weedy. If you run through weeds they will snag on the rudder and act like an underwater parachute. Did you notice how your SV was running nicely and on the last pass you ran close to the bank then she fell off and started cavitating??? That is a classic example of running through weeds. The really tricky part is they can be close to the surface even out in the middle of the pond, then when your boat stops or you go to pick it up they just fall off the rudder in the water and you'll never know they were there.

Yea...the lake we ran at is full of lilipads....and Superflyboy is working to get them erradicated. The boat did catch on the flating debris in the vid and that is why it was brought in. We had that problem consistantly througout the day with both boats. Good eye!

Finally got a free min to clear the boat. Threw in a picture of my neighbors Tail lights. I had the clear in the gun already and leftover black. Everything actually turned out better then expected. I put an extra coat on the run surface so I wouldnt be scared to sand them down. Watcha think of my first try? (when it sets up more I'll put it on the stand and take another picture with the cowl on)

Ok well here is the end of this thread. Finally got everything back together and adjusted.
The break away rudder and turn fin is from Twist Lickwid Racing. (I spelled it incorectly on purpose. some of you will understand why ***)
Adjustable strut, flex shaft, and stub shaft is from our own ToyotaTruckin.
Engine is a .18 Go Tech stage 1 modified from our own Amax
The prop, wich is an x437/3, custom sharpened and balanced with a little texas cut release from Amax
I have changed the water inlet and outlet tubes to copper tubes instead of plastic.
Batter has been taken apart and soldered together in a different configuration and placed up front.
Custom modified stock fuel cell
Upgraded radio system to 2.4GHz with a micro receiver
Running serface has been blueprinted
Custom stuffing tube without tephlon liner made of K&S brass tube
Custom paint job
Custom servo mount for steering and throttle
The turn fin was relocated slightly for more regidity
Octura Auto Bailer. I shaved it down and angled it on the inside to help bail the water during turnes.
Now I just have to wait for the lakes to unfreese
Im not saying its the fastest, best looking, best handeling, or coolest boat out there but its mine and its my first. Thanks for all the help from everybody on RCU

I resized them twice. Looks like the perfect size when I open them individually. Dont know why they are side by side eithor. All I do is upload images. There is no option on how they will be displayed.

Mike is sending me another strut. Should be here in a few days. Now all I'm missing is an UNfrozen lake and two TSH stickers on Eithor side of my cowling. Oh and a name. She's still a Jane Doe for now.
