Engine Prop Combination 30 Inch Deep V
Hello,
I have been into fast electrics for a while and am eager to make the switch to nitro. I have a 30inch (75cm) semi deep V hull lying around that im currently in the process of converting to surface drive.
If anyone could shed some light on what prop/engine combination would suit this set up id greatly appreciate it. Ideally I would like the boat to be capable of 50mph.
Thanks in advance,
Ryan.

I would start out with an OS .18 or a Nova Rossi .21 for that size hull. To go bigger than the .21 is asking for problems in keeping the boat on the water

Aaron Alberico is the Australian Novarossi distributor. Contact him for a .21 Novarossi and he can suggest props. Novarossi has a number of .21 options.

If your wanting to run 50mph+ I would stay away from the .18's unless you have it seriously modified. Massive Mods is the Go Engine dealer in Australia and does Really nice work from what I hear.

If you run a surface drive with a good 21 size engine I would start with a 440 3 blade, then move up to a 1614 chopper if the engine can turn it. A NR should pull it no problem, even the Go 21 motors will run well in a mono.
