Default VooDoo Model Boaters present the 4th Annual World Championships

Racers and Visitors,

On behalf of the VooDoo model boaters we would like to take this time to invite everyone to The 4th Annual VooDoo World Championships. This race will be held November 16th-18th with open water the entire week before. This race is one of the biggest baddest races of the year and this is one where you get the chance to leave a World Champion. This race is already known for having the fastest racers in the country showing up to do battle so that they can prove who is truly the best of the best. If you win at this race you leave a World Champion and own the bragging rights that go along with it. As a added bonus we are inviting the Nitro and Electric guys to come and race with us in the open classes. We are even having a Shootout for the baddest class in RC Boat Racing the Nitro Twins. Joe Warren, Antron Brown and quite a few of the fastest twins in the country have already committed to coming. If you are looking for a race that has everything this is the one you have been looking for. Racers and crew that attend this race every year say that they will never miss it. The competition is fierce and the fun never ends. If you have never been to a RC Boat race then this is your chance to visit one of the best in the World. Admission is free to watch the race so come one come all.

Here is just a small list of reasons to head south to beautiful Reserve, LA and enjoy some Southern Hospitality:
** Reserve is a beautiful small city with everything you could ever want or find in a big city. It has Great Southern style restaurants as well as all of the normal fast food facilities. There is a good choice of some very nice hotels no matter what your budget to stay at while attending the race. There are Plantation homes just a few minutes’ drive from the pond for those wanting to visit some of the many tourist attractions in the area. Check out www.NewOrleansPlantationCountry.com . The pond is just 35 minutes from New Orleans and the French Quarter (Casinos, World class restaurants, tourist attractions, French Market Etc.).

** Awesome Weather in November

** Awesome food cooked on site everyday.

**Welcome feast on Friday night with Jambalaya and fried chicken wings.

** Racers appreciation party Saturday night with Fried Shrimp Catfish and Pastalaya.

** Celebrity NHRA Racers up close and personal signing Autographs and hanging out. Some of the racers are NHRA Matco Top Fuel Driver Antron Brown and crew, DieHard Top Fuel Funny Car Crew Chief Tommy Delago, Marc Oswald Former Top Fuel Funny Car World Champion and current Matco Top Fuel Crew Chief and Former Pro Stock world champ Angelle Sampay and more. Take a walk through the pits and say hello and get you a autograph.

**Plenty of Parking and pit area.

**First class facility with large driver stand with great view of the pond and course.

**Large Digital clock on the water.

**Plenty of nice hotels less than 10 minutes from the pond.

**Plenty of restaurants within minutes of the pond.

**Raffle Prizes each day along with door prizes to all of the racers who have entered.

Open water will be Monday the 12th thru Thursday the 15th from sun up til sun down. We will have our normal Jambalaya Feast on Friday Night after racing is over and on Saturday we will have a fresh shrimp and catfish fry with Pastalaya followed by a live DJ. Normal concession items will be cooked throughout the day. This is the race that everyone talks about so don"t miss out and enter as early as you can.

Winning at your local pond is great, but winning here will make you a Champion. This is your chance to come and prove that you are truly The World's Fastest!!!!!!!!! No matter what engine you run there is a class for you to race in so don't be scared come run with the big dogs.

Default RE: VooDoo Model Boaters present the 4th Annual World Championships

What a lot of members on here might not know is that their site was hit by a hurricane earlier this year and the club has been busting their butts to get the site whipped back into shape and looks better now than before. Carlo, my hat is off to everyone in the club for what they've accomplished in a short amount of time. I hope that it turns out to be a fantastic event.
