Default What rigger is this?

Morning everyone,

I bought this rigger about a month ago from the classifieds either here or or on RCG, don't recall which. The seller didn't know much about it but for the price I thought I'd see what happened. It has a NovaRossi 12C that looks good and seems to have good compression. Haven't run it yet. It needs new servos but the radio works well even if it is a 72 mhz. I use several of those still. I've not been able to figure out what boat it is. Could it be from Zipp kits? It's pretty well built, finish could be better but I think it will do for now. The hardware looks good to my eye. Any one knows what it is I'd appreciate knowing. Thanks and Happy New Year to all.

I don't know why the photos posted twice. Sorry.

Nope, it's not a Zippkits as that pre-dates them by decades. Just a guess but I'd say a Dumas Hawk.

The Dumas Hawk was much bigger(.21 class about 33.5"), looks more like being inspired by the Dumas .10 size outrigger of the late 70's with Octora 1/8" hardware;

That's not a cheap kit but then what is from Dumas? If the NR is as good as I'm hearing then I got a pretty good deal on this boat. It'll be fun to try anyway, never drove a rigger before. I'm going to order that VS-1 within the week and will add some 30% Grimmracer fuel to go with it. It'll be interesting to see how this engine (and the rest of my boat motors for that matter) responds to something other than the 10% I usually run. Thanks to all for the information.
