Does anyone know much about the prather lap cats and the canges over the years?

I have an old hull which looks to me an early lap cat. (Old flakey paint)
I recently purcahsed one of the new hulls, they are slightly shorter than the old hulls, different cowling and transom area (White unpainted one)
About 8years ago I had a lap cat, again was different, transom etc. (Yellow one photographed)

Have a look and would be interested to know is this years difference, improvements, changes between someone who had the molds or however it works?
