Default Anyone weird like me?

Is anyone weird and ever tried a Marine Diesel engine instead of a Nitro or gas engine? I picked up a 3.5cc MDS marine Diesel that I’m gonna put into my Graupner Arrow mono that currently has an O.S. .21 SE-M in it.

Yes indeed... I thought a diesel r/c go-fast type boat would be the créme de la créme of weird. I guess
not! LoL!

Don't know about weird, but I'm a bit nutty! From past threads I've seen on diesel power, you'll have to go larger in size than what nitro would provide. But hey, go for it!

Diesels usually do turn bigger props than their glow plug cousins, however it was advised in another thread to use the same prop as the glow plug engine. It might have been within the thread I linked to in post #1. Pictured below is the fine piece of machinery the diesel is going into. I intend to replace the strut and deiveshaft to remove the u-joint in the driveshaft that goes through the existing strut.
