Default Best Small block engine?

What is the engine to replace the TRX .15 with in the nitro V? How fast will this engine make the boat go? And would it be ok to use a normal car engine in it if I cut some air holes or osmething? thanks!

About any .12 to .18 motor should bolt right in. A lot will depend on if you are going to keep the RTS and clutch in it. I've been running some .12 motors in some of my little boats, they do run well. Just make sure that the head does get plenty of air.

What do you think about bolting in an epic .18 engine?

I don't know the name so I can't help you out. There's a lot of motors in the .12-.18 size and some are nothing more than a nameplate change, just like a Chevy and GMC truck.

hi!! will it be ok to use a car engine, mounted inside a cowl so there's no air flowing thro its head, but wrap the cooling fins with a cooling tube something like in the electric motors to make it cool? because in this way i can buy engines for cars, theyrea bit cheaper and more powerful.
thanks!!
