RE: nitro hammer
all nitro boats have a few problems. but this boat in my opinion is really easy to take care of. my nitro hammer is a blast. if you follow the instructions on how to break it in, you shouldn't have too many problems. i havent had very many problems with mine. the problems that i've encountered weren't real serious and were easily tooken care of. i really enjoy my hammer and if i had to recommend a nitro boat, i would suggest the nitro hammer.

Poor boat
This info comes from somebody who had his nitro hammer and just a few minutes ago is sending an e-mail to hobbico This boat is no good, (im sorry if you already got the boat, hopefully it will be better for you.) I broke it in good and all and ran it about 4 tanks afterbreak in. First of all it was extremally slow, about 15 mph, it was broken in well but some speed was lost due to wrong fuel, lhs guy was wrong [:@]. But besides the slow fact here are soome issues that have occured in the 4 tank period.
Cracked hull, the shaft wobbled and started crucking the lower part. (stock prop)
The wood mounts split, making nothing mountable
No thread lock or anything, the pipe fell off while running!
It fills up with a ton of water!
Water pickups fell off (major pain to get on, unaccessable do to glued on radio box)
Moisture enters radio box (no big deal, im sure tape could help it)
Keeping in mind this boat was gold to me, and cleaned and maintained very well.
I would not get this boat, I am now looking for a new boat to replace this total dud.
