Default Outboard options

Hello

Are there any options for a 7.5 + outboard other then k&b.. Will a inboard .45 fit a k&b leg?
I want a fresh motor

Yes, there are other options besides the K&B but are costly. Most use the K&B lower unit or similar designs like the Lawless.
The 7.5 inboard can be used but too many parts have to be swapped out so it's really not worth it. The engine runs reverse of what you need and other pieces like the PTO and crank need to be changed.
Supposedly Jim Irwin still has a big stash of new K&B parts. His last known e-mail address that I knew of was [email protected] .

What would the costly motor be, or do you just mean a inboard with parts needed to convert it would cost alot..

There are a few manufactures that provide power head replacements. The term cost is correct i.e. a Rossi power head is $300+ US. I was searching my links to see who else but could not find anything quickly.

There is a few parts to change to make a k&B i/b into an outboard, many of the parts are interchangable a lot are not i.e. bottom and top plates are diffrent.
