KYOSHO Lamborghini C1-CAT with .21
Hello Boaties,
Acquired last month in Hong Kong, the latest nitro boat offering from Kyosho. It's the superb Lamborghini C1-CAT kit. Power comes from a Kyosho (O.S?) .21 mill, that should push the almost 1 metre long hull to reasonable speeds. The quality of the kit is amazing and it's almost as good a 'display' piece as a pond-runner. I'm about 50% through it and will post review and pix as soon as she is 'launched'. Also looks like it can accept larger nitro engines, so she might have some great potential.
GO OFFSHORE!

Don't get your hopes up too high, the hull looks the part, but really isn't, all corners are round, also in places they shouldn't, like the trailing edges.
There are a few running here in Europe, general opinions ranging from: nice looks, boringly slow, needs a bigger engine, ABS hull should be epoxy, get a fast electric for that kind of money....
Mind you, those are not my observations, just what I've read in the forums over here.
Also the first disappointed buyers are already selling them on eBay...
Regards, Jan.

Anyone that can tell me something about this boat? Tested it yet? Any reviews?
Also, do anyone know a webshop that sells this boat and ships international. Tower Hobbies has it, but its too big for them to Ship outside US/Canada.

Only reviews I have read are inline with what pompebled said. (not too good!!) I myself would never pay that kind of money for a ABS hull.
For the price range of the c-1 you could get a Mean Machine 18(comes rtr w/radio)
scroll down on home page line to see the MM-18

Or here is another option not a cat, but a fast boat of HIGH Quality. (The Bruzer)
