I use an O.S. A3 on mine. It seemed to help a lot with cold starts. It is the hotest I could find. You may not need that hot. I figured I need a hoter glow plug to advance it for the high elevation I am at. I got them from tower hobbies.

I use McCoy MC-9's in just about all of my boats. I am getting some Merlin plugs to try out but I won't have a chance to use them until spring. Boating season is pretty much over up here.[&o]

A OS # 8 IS THE BEST CALLED FOR AND ALL AROUND PLUG. (WILL WORK FINE) I HAVE ALSO USED THE TOWER ONES, BUT I CUT OUT A COIL & ALSO WORKED FINE. I LIKE THE OS R5. SEEMS TO LAST A GOOD WHILE. BUT ANY MED-HOT WILL WORK.
