New Dumas scidadal Jet drive +nitro or prop
Hey fellas
I am getting used dumas scidadal 31" its like a cracker box almost flat botom and i was wondering what the best combo would be nitro + a prop or nitro and a jet drive... A guy that has seen it run said that the jet drive would jest un load the engine, he recomended the scale jet at [link=http://graupner jet drives]http://www.hobby-lobby.com/jetdrives.htm[/link] what should i do i would be new to the jet and havent seen very many never seen one run

A jet drive would actually work better in a SK-Daddle (proper spelling) as it does have the flat bottom which makes installation easier. The biggest problem would be that the pump would sit inside the radio box which wouldn't leave much room for the radio gear.
You may find that a skeg may have to be installed ahead of the drive to keep the boat from wandering.

could you modify it so that you would have the surface drive slightly lower than a normal surface drive.Likewhere the prop would normaly come out of let say the hammer and bend pip (little bit longer stuffing tube) so that it come out just below the surface and just bend it strait so it come out right behind the boat and right below the surface. Then use a side mounted rudder and use a flex shaft lets not get stupid loljk

I like the idea if the jet drive for the SK Daddle. We have one that I just finished rebuilding a few months ago and I wish I had known about the jet drive then...
