If you wanted to have your K&B 3.5 or 7.5 built to really gain some power, who would you use to do the engine mods? I have bought a 3.5 and a 7.5 tunnel hulls and run ok but are bone stock engines and would like to up the HP and get more speed.

What boats do you have? I've mod'd my K&B OB's to a point where some boats can't handle the new power.

Option 2 would be to replace the K&B powerhead with a MAC or Nova Rossi.

Other options would be Rossi (3.5 or 7.5), CMB (3.5), Nelson (7.5).

You could contact Mike Hoffman@ [email protected], he has set many records in NAMBA in the outboard classes, he also does the work really cheap, and gets great results.

Thank you for all the info guys. I will contact both of them and see what they say. What boats do I have? I have a Maus tunnel hull 21 size and a Prather Lap Cat 7.5 as far as the K&B engines.

Easy mod that you can do yourself is to add a pipe. Don't be surprised if that LC2 can't handle the new power.
