Default ldProp Size for Dynamite .32

Hi Guys,

I have a Dynamite .32 marine engine, which I am going to put into my second Wild Thing monohull.
What size prop should I use? Would a Prather 225 be okay ?

Thanks !

Rob

Default RE: ldProp Size for Dynamite .32

I have a stock ShockWave 36 with that engine. It does turn a prather 230, but not very fast on the top end. It seems to be A bit big for this engine. I would start with a prather 225 or an octura x447. That is what has been reccomended to me. (although boating season is over now, and all i have used is a 230 so far). Make sure to have it sharpened and balanced for best performance.

Just thaught i would also say that the dynamite .32 marine engine rocks!!! it is not the most pwerful engine in it's class, some would even say it's weak, but hey, it runs great and mine fires every time. AND it manages to push my stock SW36 to 30+ MPH without a balanced prop. Good sport engine. Just my 2 cents.
