Thanks...I'm sorry, I should of been more specific but I'm really looking for a "kit". Something I can dig into and put together myself

RE: Tunnel Hull Kit
Besides Dumas or now the hard to find Grim boats, there are no other "kit" boats out there. WOF is a way to go as PC has pointed out. If you decide to go WOF, drop me a line as I've got a web site specificly made for building WOF's.

RE: Tunnel Hull Kit
I found a hot shot 3.5 kit and purchased that. I know it is dumas but really could not find anything else. I thought grim racer was going to be producing kits for another manufacturer??

RE: Tunnel Hull Kit
Grim is infact workign for a bigger manufacturer as of now. I second ob nuts opinion on teh WOF boats designed by Jerry Dunlap. I havnt built on YET myself, but this winter will get 3 or 4 of them going. I have seen them run, and am pretty impressed with there ability to handle rough water. These boats are just nice any way you look at them. They arent a lynx or anything of that caliber, but a nice boat none the less

Hopefully 'glas as it looks like they're only using plastic in the electric boats.
To the author of this thread, if you want to build from wood you can always do a scratch kit form www.rcstore.com plans.

I really don't know, maybe Grimracer himself or Russ could fill us in. I heard sometime this year yet but nothing for sure. Part of the problem is competing with the 3.5 OB tunnel that they already have out, the Top Speed 2. I think that the Nemesis would be their next option as it's made for modded engines whereas the Villian is a better stock engined boat. Jerry included a few of the Villian's tricks into the TS 2.

RE: Tunnel Hull Kit
Thanks for the heads up...I have a Nemisis and have been running it all summer. It flies on the water and handles great especially compared to my Hot Shot. I also was able to find a Villian kit from a gentleman in California (I beleive Rod Gerahty told me about him). This is going to be my winter project as I think it is time to retire the hot shot
