Thunder Tiger Falcon - Spin fin placement
Does anyone know the correct placement of the spin fin for a Thunder Tiger Falcon 3.5 Tunnel?
The instructions say "Left side bottom of boat" but the picture next to it has it on the right side [&:]
Should it be port or starboard?
The fin is angled so depending on which side I place it the fin will angle out or it will angle in.

RE: Thunder Tiger Falcon - Spin fin placement
The Falcon uses the turn fin and the trim tabs as an attempt to cure the hulls problems in design that I guess that they didn't want to bother to address. Turn fins on tunnel boats went out the door many years ago with the other exception being the Prathers which are 20+ year old designs.
If it's flipping over backwards then you may need to add weight to the front or adjust the engines angle.

RE: Thunder Tiger Falcon - Spin fin placement
It was fliping on its back when doing turns as I had the turn fin angled outwards. When I took the fin off, the boat would just spin out when turning.
Yeah, its a crappy hull, but it will do for the kids to play around with until the Nitro eats away the ABS. Then I'll transfer the OB to another hull.
