60 mph? I dont know about that, but the mods you did to your boat are cool and I think your boat is awesome.
The proboats Ive seen race with .18s that are fully modded can barely handle the speed, they sponson walk real bad and are a handfull to controll, they simply are to small of a boat to handle that kind of speed. The proboats are cool, but lets face it, they were designed for fun and scale looks, they were not designed for racing. I race a proboat and really enjoy it, and they can be made to go real fast, but everything has it limitations.

OH GREAT [&o] It's back. I was hopeing this thread would stay dead. It was a BS flame then and still is. I'm still feeling the sting of that nasty E-mail. I should have saved it and posted here for all to see.[sm=devious.gif]

I just had to know what happened, It's like the story just stopped in the middle. Besides, I have a 1/12 Miss Bud I converted to Brushless and it runs 37.2 MPH(GPS) Pretty stable.
I'd like to find out just how far I can push this boat.

Oh boy, somebody actually went past page one to dig up this one!
Without checking, I'm guessing that he hasn't been in here in over a year so maybe we ought to let this one drift back into obscurity.

Vid of Marc Grim setting the [link=http://www.namba.com/content/records.asp?EventType=9]NAMBA[/link] X Hydro 2 lap record at [link=http://www.rcflix.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=1564&cat=500&ppuser=612]70.62 mph[/link].. sorry, no sound [&:]
Thought I'd toss that out to see speed in action. Boat was most likely running in the high 70's, running in the outter lanes brought the speed down.
Class Name Date Sec MPH Engine/Motor Hull Prop
X Hydro Mark Grim 04-06 16.99 70.62 CMB California Special Octura V967
Vid taken at Legg Lake, Ca. Apr, 06.

Well I'm not a boat boy but being around misshydro I'm slowly changing my mine? I cant beleive that a 1/12 Bud style boat do 60mhp?! That hull cant take that beating!!! I should know this because Misshydros miss blue angel is starting to crack! We should of shot that video of her blue vs vegas!! I'll tell you what that vegas was getting kicked alittle! Both boats have the same stock.18s. I'm thinking her blueangel going about 40 mhp? Hay whats the cost on a mini GPS? she would like to get one.
