Has anyone modified thier radio throttle so its at rest all the way forward to get the full range of the servo?

triggers rest half way, full forward is brake, full back is gas. Your only using 1/2 your servo travel for your full range of throttle, twice as sensitive.

Some raidos have adjustable travel for that but most of the cheaper ones don't

I've done that to several Futaba Jr's. Open up the cases, take out the centering plastic pieces and drill a small hole the front side of the trigger. Put the spring in the hole and find another place to put the other side of the spring.. Worked great...

Full off throttle turned it off. It was a pain to start as the throttle had to be held in place to allow a small opening. Ron you know me, there's only one speed - WOT............
