Default Pull start

I think the problem with my pullstart, is the spring is in the wrong way round. If anyone here thinks they can sort out my engine, then please tell me, and if you are in the UK, I will send it to you to have a look at. Surely the pullstart shouldn't look like this:

(remember, it is rotating the wrong way)

Thanks, Andrew

If I lived in the UK Id offer to fix it, but since I dont Ill try and talk you through it, thats def. backwards, the string should wind around the other way, and the spring is prolly backwards to Im guessing so that needs to come out, watch out they go crazy when they come out, then rewound the right way and re-assembled...

If you live in the UK and think you could do this, please tell me! Also, does anyone know where I can get an engine starting belt (for a starter), on the internet with postage to the UK?

Thanks,

#

Andrew

Today I got the propshaft, and the universal joint from offshore electrics. I really need someone in the UK to say they can fix it, as I want to get up and running again ASAP.
