Aqua Jet - RTR Gas Powered Boat
Hi,
I am soon traveling to the US, My question is if there is somebody here who has any experiance of the Aqua Jet - RTR Gas Powered Boat??
Or do you have any other boat to recommend?? I have a budget of $ 350 and it has to have a motor of at least 2,67 cc.
Or is it cheaper to order it on the internet? Websites??
Thank in advance for all the help.
Regards

I'll move this over to the Nitro forum as that's where this belongs.
It's not a bad boat for the price but not a great one either as one reason why is the exposed radio equipment. As for props, the stock one isn't very good. The Octura X-438, 438, 637 and 440's all seem to work well on it with my choice being the X-637.
Keep it clean of all fuel spills as the hull is fuel-resistant, not fuelproof otherwise it will start melting.
Gas is Gasoline, nitro is nitromethane, 2 different animals. What you are asking about is a nitro powered boat.

I own one & its a really good boat. Dont belive the 30 mph claim, will only do about 25mph. You can get it a www.offshoreelectics.com for about $220 & comeswith a carbonfiber prop & an .18 engine. You may also want to add a bigger fuel tank, the stock one will only give you about 8 min run time
