I think primarily the only difference between fuels, putting nitro content aside, is the percentage of oil and also what type of oil is in the fuel. 18% - 20% oil content is what I have been reading as being an acceptable oil amount.

Nitro percentage falls into the tuning aspects of an engine...needle settings and head clearance/shims.

You would have to compare oils between what is recommended and what you plan on using.

Try searching just fuels in the Glow Engine section, and you'll be able to see how large of a question this really is.

Traxxas doesn't advise putting their fuel into their Nitro-Vee so I wouldn't recommend it for any boat. Some companies will void engine warranties if the wrong fuel in used.

I would not use Traxxas fuels for any purpose, especially a boat!

I know that one relatively small company, CEN Racing voids engine warranties for various fuels if they are used. Traxxas fuel and Blue Thunder are just two on the list. I'd have to do some searching on what others that they don't recommend. Basically, use a good name-brand fuel made for boats. Helicopter fuel is the next best thing.
