Default Vegas heat issue

I seem to have a heat issue with my Miss Vegs it keeps burning the header coupler not just mine
but two other boats also, I'm running Wildcat helimix 20% with 18% oil HSN 2 1/16 out LSN 1 1/16 out
boat runs great and is fast no boug in turns or on straight aways starts easy runs great all the way to
empty, just after maybe 5 tanks must replace the coupler, What must I do to stop this or is this the
norm for this boat

You may want to consider upgrading to a higher temp coupler. BruLine mades couplers and any of the couplers used for 15/18 nitro cars would also work.

I got the name wrong fo the tuned pipe couplers. It should be: Aerotrend "UltrBlue" couplers. Try aerotrend.com - (203) 734-0600

Special Stock#
LX9441

Tower's Low Price
14.79

these are the ones we have had the best luck with so far we have burnt of the originals, the prather and the aerotrend exhaust stack we could not get the header couplers By aerotrend as they were temporarily unavailable at towers...

we only have a couple night running so i do not know how they will be in the long run but they are reinforced and have a thick wall and have a reinforced membrane in them.

Time will tell but I had to send both engines back so i am down for awhile.
