Impba record is 120.579. That was by Andy Brown in 2001 with a Eagle hydro/rigger
Namba record is 121.62 That was Chris Grim in 2006 with a CAaftershock hydro/rigger
That is Nitro........The fastest was Electric
Namba 123.49 T Hydro 2004

There has been an unofficial run of 130 and change, unofficial because it happened in a one-way pass before destroying itself run by Mark Grim. You have to make a pass in both directions to make it official, just like the land speed records.
Andy's record was run with a new boat that wasn't even dialed in yet. Andy says that he is working on a new engine that he feels should be able to break the 150 MPH barrier!
The fastest electric record was set by Team JAG out of Germany at Legg Lake in California. The boat had actually hit 143 MPH at the top end. At that time, there wasn't much room to get the boat up to speed as you want to be topped out when you hit the first set of beams. They are supposed to be moving the speed trap further down the lake so there is more room to get them wound out before hitting the first light.
