RE: 0.09 rigger progres!
Thats a sweet little Rigger you built. I was wondering who sells those small marine engines. I see you say you can't find anymore of the one you have but do you know of any close to that size. Thanks Dave

RE: 0.09 rigger progres!
Andy Brown is still talking about coming out with a .12 under his new banner, the A/A engines made right here in the USA instead of somewhere overseas.
I'm not holding my breath for one as he is working on the .21 and I think the .67's first so it might be a couple of years before we see one from him. He does have a prototype that he's been testing, a smaller version kind of like the other MAC engines right down to the same carb and exhaust configurations.
In testing he was trying up to 70% nitro(!) but had overheating problems. He's still not sure if it will be air or water-cooled at the moment.
I do have an engine that was one of Gary Preusse's Webra Speed .11's that was a sister to his record setter that was modded with an OS carb and a specially made water-cooled head but haven't found a suitable hull to drop it into yet.

RE: 0.09 rigger progres!
you know there is some .05 and .09 engines coming out for the rc buggys (i have two allready)
i would be willing to make water cooled heads for them if people are intersted the toki .05 engine has vary little power but it need to have a bigger carb and some intake work done to it and it should be fine with a x427 prop on a 1# hull max! or beter yet on a grupner mini jet pump i might try thet one day i have the engine all i need is a water cooled head and no i dont like air cool[:@]

If any of you read R/C Driver, there is an ad inside of the front cover of the latest issue for the new Adam Drake modded engines. If you want one that badly to pay the price (yup, they ain't cheap!) then those puppies might be the ones to have but be prepared for sticker shock.
Yes, I have to shoot some pix of it as I'm thinking of keeping it as a collectable but I got a great deal on it with a fresh rebuild and almost enough spare parts to build a second one.
This was formerly a pylon airplane engine from what I gathered from Gary yet it has a 180 degree header.

This engine is a UCTKAM 1.5. They are Russian made. It is my understanding that they are made by Russian trade schools. Most are pretty bad. I have one myself but it is gonig to need alot of work before it will even think about running. I have only ever heard of a few that guys have gotten to run. Glad to see one running here. You will need to make a custom watercooled head for it like littlepiston has done as well as add your own carb as they are set up with only a C/L type venturi.

I am not up to speed on the availability of K&B engines, but they did have at one time, a water cooled, pull start .18 with a carb that was supposed to be on the compact side for it's displacment.
