I have a few questions for you, the starter looks alot diffrent than any other Ive seen? why an o-ring? Is the flywheel something special? I see you changed carb from original, any reason why? Good luck and good boating.
Thanks paul

I was looking thru the impba rules for a class for this type of boat. It looks like the motor size makes it a "a" class? Or can this boat even be raced?
Thanks Paul
I am gonna maybe try and race a little boat, it would be nice if this was a race class that i might be able to get into.

We're trying to get the class going and a few clubs have used it so far but not enough yet. I got a call from Rod Geraghty last night (I about crapped when I saw my caller ID) and he said that 2 records were broken yesterday in Huntsville in the "A" class and one other was close to being broken.

This build is the best !!
What type of collet did you use to attach the flex cable too? What was the opening size for the carb? I am really gonna start building a boat like this one real soon. Please give me some pointers I need to research carbs, any reason why you didnt use what came with the motor? Well good luck with the sell, and good luck and good boating.
Thanks Again Paul

Paul
i think that those engines dont come with a carb -theyre fixed RPM -dont know the term for it sorry! venturi??
just a needle for the fuel mixture- like for control line.
if you click the link that littlepiston put on for Ebay you can see it on there.

Hi Littlepiston,
Hope all is going good, I was looking at your hull pic, the one with the yard sticks. It looks like the outside dimensions of the hull are 2 1/2 inches and the inside is about 2 1/4 inches is this correct? Its gonna be atleast 1 more week until I get my motors and was gonna try building the hull before then.
Thanks Paul
