WW,

What did you do to your poor boat. Im gonna run mine this weekend. I had Mark Sholund make me up another prop, this is an X438 that is pitched up a bit, so hopefully I will notice a difference from the M440 and 1440. I havent been running my tunnel too much because I am doing some modifications on my gas cat. Man those gas boats are fast. Heres a pic of my tunnel.

Scott

i'm trying to radar while drivin'[sm=biggrin.gif], boat went to close to the bank and side swept the retrieving boat, and went to 3 pieces, man! telling u, it's so ugly to see it in the water[:@]..that's the speed when i hit it.

M440 is my favorite prop for tunnel but i don't have luck with 1440..ur boat look very neat[sm=thumbup.gif]...what kind of gas cat u have?..a guy in our club do mod on zenoah motor from 2hp stock to 5-6 hp modified, big difference.

WW,

Man, I had a close encounter with my retrieve boat last weekend too. That was with your Rossi huh... I have a Stryker and a Zenoah 260 fully modified with a Ron Buck modified carb. Im in the process of getting rid of my WTC header and putting on a 100 degree and a 2" band pipe, Im looking for the 60+ mark. I will let you know how the tunnel does tomorrow. I have a CMB outboard waiting for a decent hull, the Seaducer hull I have needs too much work to bring it up to my liking so I am going to hunt for a Lynx or HTB 290, maybe a Bandit. That 40 was a good speed. Well keep us posted on the Dumas, just stay away from the retrieve boat with your new build.

LP,

Nice looking boat, how do you like it so far? Are you happy with the way it handles? What kind of motor did you end up putting on there. I see the Hi-Jack mount. I am still kicking myself for not picking that up. There is currently a DPI for sale but I dont know much about the DPIs. I was goign to hold out for a Lynx, HTB or maybe a Bandit

LP,

Thanks for the link, I emailed him a while back and he wont budge on the price, he has it up to 299 now and I think thats a bit too much. I have heard nothing but good things about the villain too, If you happen to come across another one, let me know. You picked that up for 150 or something like that didnt you?

ok, maiden vonyage went successful[sm=thumbup.gif], everything in my work bench set-up works in harmony, since my OS is still in break in due to new internal parts i set it reach,, no complain of boat handling and stability..here's some pics..

,,,was down in the lake earlier and the boat is picking up speed when the flexshaft broke, no chance of testing the other props, leaning or adjusting the strut,,no bouncing or hooking issue,,so far the speed i'm getting with M440 prop, 30% nitro and straight form the bench set-up.... more speed to come....
