Check radio box to ensure completely dry, as on my 2 week old Miss Elam after 2nd run I had identical problem. Radio box appeared bone dry but was not until I disassembled and took everything out that I noticed receiver and servos were damp. Have since dried evrything out and everything works fine!

Is the pipe touching the header? Make sure there is a little gap between the pipe and header, I hear that causes problems

I agree.... sounds like a radio glitch to me, seems to be with engine running, vibrating the boat. Check all your connections, and look for any moisture.... very importanat that the radio be dry.

Is it doing while the glow ignitor is attached? That will throw interference on most radios until it's unhooked. Besides that it could be a bad receiver crystal or RX switch.

The buzzing sound is mot unusual. If you're getting a buxx from the servos, that can be from stalling.

The Spektrums are another ball game altogether. We've had and I've seen problems with those radios. The early ones had a problem where the water reflected the signals drastically shortening radio range. Save your money for now and just get a decent FM radio.
