When starting the engine and to keep it running I have to blow through the breather pipe to the tank and if I stop blowing through it cuts out, and when its connected to the nipple on the side of the engine it still don’t start
Is it petrol starvation and how can it be sorted out

Sounds like it is running lean. Is the pressure nipple clogged?
Will it run with the pressure tube not connnected to anything?

Also when blowing through the return line do you notice pressure coming from the nozzle on the motor?
How hard is it to just blow fuel out of the fuel line?

Is the fuel filter clogged?
Shorten the fuel line up a bit. Looks too long.
Does it only die at idle or half to full throttle too?
May need to richen the needle a quarter turn.

blow through the line going DIRECTLY go the carb... listen to how much air is going through. If you gotta blow hard to get some air and even then its not alot of air, its lean. Start adjusting the lsn while blowing through the line til you have more air moving through. If it doesnt have a LSN, adjust the highspeed and see if it changes.

I had the same problem with a Thunder Tiger Pro 21. I found the lower unit halves were so poorly fitted together that the muffler pressure wasn't sufficient to keep fuel flowing to the motor (at speed). It would run on the bench all day, but put it in the water and it would quit in about 30 seconds. I figured it out by blowing into the exhaust while plugging the pressure fitting and having the piston up enough to cover the port. On mine there was almost no resistance. I took the lower unit apart and filed down the mold flashing they left. Then I threw away the paper gasket. I sealed the area where the paper gasket was with blue RTV gasket. BE CAREFUL not to get the RTV where it doesn't belong! It only takes a little bit. Some parts should not be sealed off so the oil from the exhaust can lubricate the drive components. After doing this there is now significant resistance to air blowed into the outlet. That motor runs great now. Very reliable. Good Luck

Sorted
I richend the needle a quarter turn and also there was a screw missing where you lubricate the gearing.
Thanks for the tips & info
