I don't think it's a Prather. It looks more like one of the model Velden hulls that were made by a company that I think was called International Hobbies and they were located in Colorado.

Maybe these will help there are diffrences with both, but it almost looks closer to the international. The lapcat doesnt have the ridge running from the nose to the driver. Its hard for me to tell you guys would be much better than me.

thanks guys for the replies, appreciate it,, there is still variance from lapcat and international hobbies from mypoint of view,,,maybe this is a custom design??..it looks really old but but good design.

looks more like a prather....it has the lift on the end right before where the OB is, and so does the yellow one in the pic

When I looked at this last night, it appears to be an International Hobbies Velden. The front just doesn't look right for that boat either. A buddy of mine ran a Velden back in the mid 80's and loved them..

I was thinking Lap Cat also but then I noticed the flat area at the rear of the cowling.
We've seen a lot of companies come and go over the years, this one has the look of something from the `80's.

Jerry is right . it's a Velden and i owned one back in '85 ..... ohhhh long time ago
