I've had good luck using a local body shop. The guy that painted it was kind of excited about doing it and went nuts when I brought it back in finished. He charged me $150.00 and was only supposed to put on the main color but ended up by doing a little finish work thewn after the main color, threw on a clear-coat for me and baked the finish.
Dean Wrges at Specialty Auto Body in the St. Loius area is one of the top boat painters around but he isn't cheap. His prices start at $275.00 plus return shipping for a very basic paint job but Dean can't do anything simple as he has to add subtle things to add a little extra bling to them. He does all of the show boats for Aeromarine and the pix in their ads don't do the boats justice. He's also done custom bikes that have graced the covers of almost every biker magazine.
It's just a matter of how much that you want to spend.

The paint job is allready done Misshydro. Its a Texas flag draped over the frunt of a ShockWave 55. The reason I have not posted the pics yet is because I have alot of work to do instaiiing all the hardware and then I,m going to hire a pinstiper to do some old sckool pinstiping with paint not tape. I have a guy down here that does anodizing too so I,m getting some of the engine parts done. I would say within a mounth she should realy be sparking like a dimond. Some guys put all thier time into making thier boats fast. I like to make mine shine.
