Dolphin stay away from it!!! My vote (out of the list) TS2!! outboard is kinda expencive but it can be put on any other tunnel you buy in the future and tunnels are fun to drive

If you have no prior experience with boats, then probably the shockwave 36, but if you like tuning, and adjusting the ride of a boat then get the TS2. I would get the TS2 because it will most likely be the fastest and best handeling and you can race it in a 3.5cc tunnel class if there is one around you.

IF YOU CAN RUN A TUNNEL AT YOUR POND OR WHERE EVER YOU PLAN TO RUN ,A MISS VEGAS IN MY OPINION IS THE MOST USER FREINDLY RTR OUT THERE FOR THE MONEY BESIDES THAT IT WILL TURN A LOT OF HEADS ,EVEN SITIN STILL!! HYDROS RULE YOU KNOW. JUST KIDDIN YA ABOUT THE HYDROS RULE THING THE TS2 IS A GREAT HULL AND VERY WELL BUILT, AND YOU HAVE YOUR CHOICE OF WHAT ENGINE TO RUN ,WHAT EVER YOU GET THE IMPORTANT THING IS #1 HAVE FUN AND #2 LEARN SOMETHING NEW AND FINALY ,MEET SOME GREAT PEOPLE IN THE HOBBY.

yup a vegas is a very user friendly starter boat, but I think the TS2 would be aswell. As long as he can do some simple tuning to the engine angle etc, it will outrun a vegas.

yes it will out run the vegas! Im not telling you to get one BUT the New Super nitro VEE from aquacraft might be the boat to get I know .12 monos can hit speeds of 45+ they are all custom builds not RTR but the superVee Nitro has all the right Ideas into it, not saying it will be that fast out of the box Might be a TURD but then again It could be the next best thing in RTR's If your in no hurry to get a boat might wait for the reviews to come out on it.....

What ever you get no matter what style hull we say is best get something youll be happy with do your home work on different kinds of hulls "Hydros, Tunnels, Deep V/shallow v, cats,ETC" Find one that will fit how you will be driving and your experiance level, Clubs and people that run boats in your area that can help you out is also very nice and if there is a club find out when they are running go check out what boats they have ask questions I know in our club we have a "club boat" that new people can drive just to get the feel of what its about so might ask around see what you can come up with...Local hobby shop should know of any clubs around your area to

The water you are running on makes a little difference too, is it ruff or smooth? Ruff water get more of a cat/deep v smooth a hydro/tunnel. Yes any boat can run on just about any water, just slow down a little and think alot more. If you Plan on racing then the TS2 can jump right in and race, the Miss Vegas they are still working on a RTR class for along with the Blackjack 26. The shockwave I haven't heard alot of talk about RTR classes for this boat yet. Where I live there is NO RTR classes in the club I am in, so a RTR is really just a fun boat. Ultimately get something you like , learn to drive / tune it and from that point if you want to race you can do what ever is needed to race. But Have FUN
