Aquacraft props
I'm considering an Aquacraft prop (42x55) or (42x66) for my WT with an OS .18. How close is it to an Octura X442? Would it be a good choice?
Thanks...
Thanks...

The SV 27 N. I got the 42 x 55 and just found my prop balancer a couple of minutes ago. The prop is well balanced out of the package but could use just a little sharpening. It could easily be run right out of the package though for those that don't have the stuff to do it with.

Your link is wrong, try this one: http://www.aquacraftmodels.com/ .
If you need help on balancing, sharpening and other work, use the thread pinned to the top of R/C Boats General Discussion forum.
On another thread, Russ said that it wasn't online yet. I think that the props came out faster than they had planned so they didn't have the article ready yet.

BTY.
A Gimracer 3655 took me to first place in sport 20 hydro last weekend in Evansville IN. My boat was a modified Vegas hull with the OS CVR-M marine engine..
The 4052/3 also got me up front in Sport Tunnel.. TS hull and OS engine.
The props are working for sure..

The 3655 is close to the Y535. Its a better handling prop then the Y535 but it does give up about 1mph in speed to the Y535. It corners fantastic.
The 4052/3 is a great choice for the SV nitro. It stands the best chance for more speed after your engine is broke in. I really like the 4053 on mine however.
I suspect we should have the instructions on the website soon.. Wish I could give you a date but I cant.. I dont know it.. I have however been told soon.

RE: Aquacraft props
These props are top notch out of the package!!!! I had the luck to check them ALL out.
RC trade show is going on in Vegas and I had the pleasure of meeting Mike Grim and Jerry Dunlap. They came down to the local pond in Las Vegas to show off Aquacrafts and Futaba's latest wares. These guys are super friendly... top notch guys!
I bought some ABC props and if you have ever seen these, the aquacrafts are a notch above the abc in finish. The ABC props really seem to be more beefy than octura's but it most likely due to the extra finishing they do. But aquacrafts are a tad more pricey but out of the box, there's less casting flash and the finish is excellent. If they advertised they were balanced and sharpened (which they do not) just based on looks, I'd believe 'em.
Here are some other pics of 2 props I took an interest in:
And one more of the lot with a couple of my little guys in it:
I believe I'll be trying some of these in the future.

Sleepy, your pictures are coming up as boxed red Xs because you have a "?" at the end of the URL for them. One of the pics in your other post about the boats is the same way.
