Default help please!

well i took my boat out yesterday and was having problems....
the boat ran extreamly well for lets say 40secs... the the engine whould seam to die slowly the throttle whould not respond so well it whould just chug along back 2 shore...
i took for another run and it did the same thing ,so my instant thought was the fuel tank had a whole... looked at it and no holes also no twists in fuel line.... so then i was stuck with things to do so i made the engine more rich and it seemed to run longer but still did the same things . i realy need help on what to do

i am running on 5%glow fuel
the engine is 3.5cc team infinity
the boat is arrowshark dragonfly
glow plug seems fine
water pickup seems fine
the speed be for stalling 40+mph

i was thinking about geting 25% nitro and seeing if that makes a diffrance

guys i realy need your help this has been bothering me for a while now
thanks curtis

what kind of a glow plug are you running with that nitro cause if you are running the nitro that low you need to be running a hot plug or get the 25% fuel and you can run a medium plug

Are you sure that you are runing only 5% Nitro, with the speed that you are getting it seems that it would be a higher Nitro %, I would run no less then 20%, if you are planing on racing this boat I would run 40 to 50% Nitro fuel, but remember the engine life span is shortened by the higher % of Nitro that you run, but as always consult your owners guide, I checked out the boat on line, it looks like it a really nice boat.

Also for breaking in the engine, I would leave the Low side alone (it should be about 2 1/2 turns out), start with the high side at 3 turns out, working your way in at a 1/6 of a turn untill you run around 7 or 8 tanks of fuel, depending on your area you should end up at about 2 to 2 1/2 turns out on the high side, also during the break in period trim out the Carb with the radio so that it is open about an 1/8 inch, it should spit and spuder at first, but as you adjust the Carb it will lean out.
