K&B 3.5 outboard: What pipe is this??
Hi, I was into boating about 15 years ago and I had my K&B motor modified at a local hobby store and purchased this pipe at the store too. Does anyone recognize it? What can you tell me about it? I want to get back into boating and was wondering if the pipe is worth using or ditch it and go with a different one? Thanks, Grayle

It's not really a tuned pipe but it goes by the name of Magic Muffler. It's basically what was at first called a
Mousse can muffler. Hang onto it as some people consider them collectables.
As you can see, the one for the 3.5's are a one-piece unit but the one for the 7.5's was a two-piece.

Ron, Thanks for your help. I did a google search and didn't really come up with much, and a search in this forum for magic muffler and only came up with 7 results. Not much info. Is there anything else I should know about this muffler?

Its very old. They are not that great to be honest, not even a half wave pipe. Like Ron said, you should be able to put it on fleabay and put the money you get towards something more modern. Not much else to know about them.
