Default TS2 PROB

Trying to get my kids Christmas present set-up so he can run it on Christmas am. Its a ts 2 w/ os 21 xm. The motor is broken-in. Runs great until you throw it in then it runs ~ 15 mph. Barely gets sliding. Have tried 3 different props with the same outcome. Runs great and winds up like you would expect on the bench but as soon as its splashed it bogs. Any thoughts? Thanks.

If it's revving up ok on the bench and then is a dog on the water, in all likelyhood, you've got it too lean. Also, what props have you tried?

Place the boat on the setup board side of the boat stand and make sure the centerline of the prop is at least 3/16" above the board. The O.S. loves nitro - 40% - 60% will work fine.

Thanks. Y'all were right. I set the heighth correctly, but didn't tighten the bolts enough and it slid down. Runs fine now. Alittle slower than expected but I'm only using 20% and slightly rich adjustment because it is my 7 yr olds boat. Also, somewhat tricky to find the fine line line between adding weight and prop angle. Have 3 oz in the bow and trimmed up 4 or 5 degrees to get it to ride right. Thanks again.+

Additionally, the instructions for the slow speed mixture are garbage. Takes a bit of tweaking.

If you have not done so, glue the front recovery pads to the inside of the sponsons. Getting a tunnel boat trimmed does take some effort. 20% fuel is definitely a "mild blend."

Will do. Tends to dig in turns. Need to sheath them in epoxy first. Thanks.
