Default differnt cooling problems

i have a deep vee with an 11cc i/b.its sluggish in the straights but when i turn it screams.i have water pickups in both tabs.am i keeping the motor too cool or do i have a bad shaft alighnment?

My boat does that when there is too much prop on it...but seems I heard something else about what this indicates...but can't remember what it was...

The prop may be too deep. What happens in the turns with a prop too deep is that it frees up in the corners as it comes more out of the water as the hull leans.
If you have a smaller prop handy, try that to see what happens.
