with a boat all adj. should be made IN/ON the water,do a lap,make an adj. and so on,if you run/tune on dry land,keep it to a minimum,or you risk damage,what you consider snappy response and great RPM on land,you'll find your settings way too lean when it's in the water....[:-] you should start out rich,lean until no more improvement,then richen 1/16 - 1/8 turn....[8D]

180 to 220 is about right for boats. about the same as cars, maybe a little cooler. higher nitro & colder plug, usually. depending on your setup, i've seen needle valves used to regulate flow/temp. most ob's running VERY little to no cooling water.........
