Default drivehelp please

Hi i have converted my koysho jet stream ep 800 to nitro

i have had that many problems took me years to do

now problem i have it has a universal drive sp the prop moves when you steer

great in electric as you can power down but as its nitro i try to turn the boat jumps out the water and turns slows it down a good bit

now im going to take off the universal drive but thinking of keeping the rudder on the hull as it is now with the prop shaft going thro it but with a rudder behind it or do i have the rudder to the left hand side

the original rudder will be fixed so the boat will be more stable or do i take it off as it a very small rudder the universal drive turns the boat so i keep the prop the same distance away from the hull

im running a force 21 in it tried a 61 but it was way too big i would not fit inside the hull lol i look forward to your help kind regards stewart

First I would pull all that plastic hardware off and find the nearest trash can,, It looks like vegas hardware could be adapted to that hull pretty easy and the best part it would be adjustible, is that a piece of hose I see hanging out the bottom? Along with the hardware you may have to change out the flex shaft and tube and add some trim tabs on the stern.

The solid rudder will counteract what the steering rudder is doing and also a huge amount of unwanted drag.
