Default twin cylinder speed boat

Hi everyone I seen this beautifully twin cylinder boat that belonged to A very good RC guy that has past on and his wife is selling off all is RC stuff and we need some help with info on this great little boat.
There is A tag on it that says (powered by ED'S engines San Jose Calif.) it is like I said A twin cylinder has A neat little gear drive and A lot of extra parts S I need to know if any one has one like it or has seen one before and what you can tell me about it. ( I'm not trying to sell it here).
Thanks Harold

Clocknut that boat engine is older than alot of the PEOPLE on this forum. I suggest you post at International Waters in the general boating category.... There is a higher percentage of longtime boaters (by that I mean more than say 10-15yrs) and it's gonna take someone with depth of experience to answer you. There is likely on a handful if that here (there too probably )

Best wishes,

todd

I dont know alot about them but from what I have learned this year it looks like the engines are very old, and I have not seen a double like that in a long time. It also appears to have a gear box on the collet side of the engine, I may be wrong as it may be a clutch. I would definately post it on ITL waters as there are alot of really knowledgeable people there as well. I would wonder if it was even a legal boat to run in races due to no muffler and a gearbox? hmmmmmmmmmm

Harold, Get in touch with Clarence Lee. He is an engine historian beyond anyone else. His address is Lee Custom Engines, 10112 Woodward Ave., Sunland, Ca 91040. Dan
