ok i recieved my blackjack 27ss about a week ago. i ran few tanks through it and then the first prop broke the boat did jar suddenly as if i had hit any thing, just loss of speed do missing a blade on the prop. put the factory replacement prop on do like 3 or laps and the second breaks same as the first.
any suggestions on why they keep breaking so easily or where to go to get a stronger prop, please help!!!!!!

need to get a metal prop..plastic ones breaks to easy..What motor do you have in it??If its the.15?? A 435/3 might work. if its a.18 a 437/3

Its an octura prop 437/3 is 37.6mm also these might work too.. 438 is 38.1mm 440 440/3 is 39.9mm prop.heres a prop chart that can help you out..[link]http://www.xtremercboats.com/tech/propchart.htm[/link]

I'd just converted a blackjack out drive and rudder .By using the Miss Vegas setup!! Using the adjustable strut&brackets and the rudder plus the flex cable too.

no its not a hydro setup.. That a stinger almost like the SV27 but the SV27 has better adjustments then that setup.. Even the Miss Vegas adjustable strut has better hight setting that that has.[8D]

so are the Vegas&SV27 hardware for metal props too. They just put the plastic ones on for cheaper prices plus you might change your mind on what prop would work better for your boat.

just measure the shaft diameter, props in this size range are all for a 3/16th shaft I believe, at least I know the x 440/3 is, and it should fit your drive dog also...not sure which of those 3 is best though since I'm not familiar with cat hulls or that particular engine/drive setup
