when you up your nitro content is it really necessary to break in your motor all over again?

not realy.Once you broke your motor in,its broken in..All you have to do is use a cooler glow plug and adjust your carb on the richer side.

The short answer is no. You may need to change such things as needle setting,plug heat range, pipe length, prop and hull setup to get the most performance from higher nitro.
