k&b 3.5 muffler (stocker)
i was told my stock 3.5 was too loud by the commodore of our club and im tring to find a muffler. this is the model that exhaust exits through the misection above the cav plate. any ideas?

There is no muffler that fits the area.. I do believe JD once tried to adapate a muffler to the standard exhaust on a K&B.
Sorry, but the Commodore should allow the "STOCK" (hopefully the holes weren't enlarged) to run. It's not that loud..
But hey, it's an excuse to put a muffled pipe on Speed baby [8D]

Nitronut, If yuo are planning on running in District 8 races you will be OK. I am also using an older K&B and have asked about this issue and was told that they will be able to run in A stock class. The 3.5 is in an unusual condition with this because they still make them so they therefore should be allowed. Different clubs may have other rules but they should be able to compete in district races.
