No, you could use rubber bands and a pop sickle stick as a propeller if that's all you can afford. I,m pretty sure he was gonna try and help you out. He doesn't want your bank account number so he can see how much your worth. He asking how much can you spend. There's a huge price range when it comes to motors. How much do you have to spend on a motor? 1 dollar?, 100 dollars?, 1500.00 dollars? Sorry man, just sounded kinda rude.

If 31 is the length ..... a 7,5cc/.45 engine is allready a hand full to manage.

A good bargain .. all American .... enough parts ...... Mecoa 'House-brand' [link=http://mecoa.com/mecoa/46/4622.htm]7,5cc/.45 pullstart-marine[/link]
@ 130 us$

At the same company K&B 7,5Inboard @ 280us$ ... you'll need a Sullivan starter and batteries.

The top of the bill are the (usa)[link=http://www.cmdracing.com/updated/mac45.htm]MAC[/link] (from CMDI-Andy Brown) and the Italian [link=http://www.cmbdeutschland.de/shop/start.htm?cmb_modellmotoren_marine_und_ersatzteile _cmb_.45_rs_(direkt).htm]CMB[/link].

Both are in the upper price-range.

Nova Rossi has a nice 5 port .21 that would be a good match. A 45 in a 31 inch Prather in serious over kill. Most 45 boats are 38 - 40 inches long. Here is the link to the Nova site T21-5M http://www.novarossi.it/content_uk/p...ine/t21-5m.htm - 1/3 the price of the CMB and performs better
