Tarzan movies Saturday afternoons and Popeye and Mighty Mouse in the AM. I'd be up waiting for the broadcast day to begin. Wow, 3-1/2 channels back then!
No more progress on the boats right now as I'm been thrashng and blowing bucks on the trailer. I just came in from laying tile down in it.

I had 3 8 10 12 and for 24 came oout with a special loop antenna lol

My JAE sponsons are just about done, sanded back a bit far squaring up the tips the way I wanted so they are getting tipped with basswood now, top skin on the left one was to narrow but fixed that to, back of sponson wood was also to narrow (yes It was on right) so had to make a new piece there to, kind of average for any kit I have ever built always a piece or two that does not fit correctly

Ill be putting aluminum plugs on the outside of mine and machining some boom clamps for it here soon

I forgot to mention I tried out the new 800mah Lipo and the UBEC in Miss A also, they worked Great. The instructions say the battery won't reach Full Potential until After 10 Cycles\charges. I burnt through 1\2 gallon of fuel from 2pm to 8pm and battery was still Half Full, each cell went from a peak charge of 4.2v to 3.6v[:-] that's more run time than you will get on an average race day. I may need to really think about getting some of the smaller 600mah or 400mah batteries that would really drop some weight from the rear of the rigger.

I bought a Trinity Picco .12 TP095 motor from a member on here today. Where is a good place to get a collet and marine flywheel for it?

Okay I got the flywheel collet ordered. I don't think I need a special flywheel since the motor I bought has a standard crank output shaft, I think I have a flywheel laying around I can use. Thanks for the tips! Getting closer.

The 6mm collet for the picco crank is what I ordered, not the collet for the flex shaft. I ordered this from amain hobbies.

Hello.
I am new to nitro boat modelling, and i was wondering on how do you stop the boat or take it out of the water ?
the boat runs even without aplying throttle so it sound strange to stop the boat while its on the run...

If your system is set up properly, You Pull the Throtel\Trigger Back to make the boat Go, You push the Throtell\Trigger Forward to Stop the engine.

Oops, you got the wrong size as that's a 5mm thread on it!
On my Trinity/Picoo/Nova Rossi I had to use the spacer that looks like it would back up a plane prop but I used the OS 1-D flywheel on mine.

the guy i bought the motor from said i need a 6mm

what i bought was the 6mm flywheel collet, the little tapered piece that the flywheel squeezes onto, not the collet assembly that threads onto the shaft of the motor, i still need to get that and the flywheel

OK, the little bit of shaft sticking out that's unthreaded my be 6mm, the tapered collar. Use the spacer if you have it and you shouldn't need the collar.

you guys think i should wait on the jae .12 strut to be available again or go with another type of strut? maybe something adjustable? same question about the non water pickup rudder that zippkits has.. can't find anything else that doesn't have a water pickup, what does it take to make a homemade rudder assembly? i have a dremel, no real machining equipment.

We keep the engines running by adjusting the throttle trim on the transmitter then to shut it down just push back on the throttle to shut it off. Make sure that your idle speed screw isn't interfering with it to fully close the barrel.

Fishy, if you don't need the water pickup then Solinger makes one that bolts right on or you can also use a rudder from Octura which is also a bolt-on.

Hello
I was looking through an engines description and said that the crankshaft is 1/4-28 . What is this in mm? Is this the diameter?
