those engines are designed for cars and trucks as a newcomer i would look for an engine designed for marine use O.S .46vx-m would work but alittle out of your price rang at $250 .00 us not shure what that converts to dynamite .32 cost around $120.00 to $150.00 us but may come up a bit short on your 35 mph goal then there is e bay k&b 7.5 if you can find a good one hope somwe of therse get you started in the right direction

I would think, if his budget could handle the $250 price you mentioned, that his best bet would be a weedeater engine (ZEN). Might even be able to find a used one that is in his budget, or close...

Hi KioskMongot!
Welcome to the Hobby.....
Is your boat a hydroplane, or a mono hull? I would imagine a boat that size without looking at it, would take a 11cc or .65-67 engine or one of the Zenoah "weedwacker"gasoline engines...However you may have to pay more unless you shop online at ebay for example...
Heres a web site you may want to check out...www.mecoa.com

thanks for quick answers well my boat is a mono hull and i have looked on the web for bigger engines but cant find any. not bigger then those on Rcmart and towerhobbies and such big sites. and to be honest im not a complete noob in this cuz when i bought the boat it had an engine but a very old one and i probably got fooled when i bought it because the water cooling that held down the piston cracked so and i not sure what cc it had but i think around 5-7 cc... if you know any more good good stores please post a LINK and they have to ship to Sweden. i sound very demanding now... ^^
Im just going to shred water

I have also looked on eBay and found this engine should be enough in my opinion
last one has a clutch and that is a plus i think

KioskMongot - your hull with the Sikk installed and properly setup should exceed your expectation. if your going the Gas engine route stick with Zenoah,RCMK or the CY/Sikk as spares are easy to get. Just remember you'l still need to get a pipe & header.
