There is a HUGE thread on the miss vegas on this site. You can see every thing from .21 motors to .32 size motor and what was done and what it took to accomplish it!! I will try and find the link to the thread.

DFB,

I see your fairly close to the Twin Cities..... Have you come to any of our club events? You can find a schedule at www.tcmbc.org. There are a number of guys who race the original Vegas's & the Deuce. They run .18 sized engines in their boats.

Here's a thought, go down to a Nova Rossi .12. It's a lot easier ot put in and has more HP and RPM than the stock engine.

If your really wanting the best speed and more performance, move up to sport 20, or get a rigger!!!

The OS CV-RMx .18 is the most common engine used to upgrade 15 to 18 sized RTR Boats, it's a good strong. dependable engine that when Properly Set Up and Tuned can push the vegas well up into the 40mph range.
The Go Engine .18 is also a Strong, Dependable Engine with a couple Upgrades done to it. It is much cheaper than the OS but not available in as many places as the OS. I'm running High 40's in my Hydro with the Go .18's on 60% Fuel.

The MACS 3.5 High Nitro Pipe has become one of the most common Upgrade Pipes used on these set ups and works very well when Cut at 8.5" inches measuring from the Stinger(Outlet End) Forward. Getting the Exhaust Properly Set Up and Tuned is one of the Biggest and Easiest Performance Upgrades you can do on these engines.

I Personally have had better performance from the OCTURA Props running the vegas, the Y535, M435\3 for Stock\Mild Mod Engine set ups, X437\3, X440, X440\3 For Mod Engine Set Ups. I run the X437\3 on my Mod .18 Hydro set up.

95-100kmh,,Thats around 59-62 mph Right?? Man I would Love to See a Video of That.
Is that the 3 port GO. .25 with the pull start or the Black Go Pro .25 5 Port, Non Pull Start??

ON MY OTHER BOATS I RUN OS AND MAC ENGINES EVEN THO THE GO IS ONLY A CHEEP ENGINE I RATE IT UP THERE WITH THE BEST . NOT SURE ALL GO ENGINES ARE AS GOOD AS THIS BUT IM 100% HAPPY WITH THIS ONE AS THE VEGAS CANT HANDLE ANY MORE SPEED OR POWER THAN THAT IN MY OPINION. ITS A HANDFULL FOR A LITTLE LIGHT BOAT.

If you like the 3 port you would really like the Pro version, the 3 port engines are the Base Line Engines and the get better from there.
