RE: Central NEW YORK boaters
I didn't have to worry about the Oneida Cup this year. The big 3 did well as in Bob,s Vector was within 1/4 lap of winning gas Vee He blew over in a tough wind at 5 3/4 laps in heat 5 or he would of won. Rick and Dick ran their T-Boats like they usually do hard and fast. I had fun pitting. I CHOKED,like normal. LOL

RR&RR home court advantage. Tim's twin was crazy fast.bring in 1st in Open rigger My .67 SGX didn't do much as driver error.or a stall during milling. I gotta spend way more time with that kinda speed. I can say I race against a twin ,that's all My whip had engine issues like1 1/2 laps and stall. I just noticed a hole in the IV bag- unloading [:@] I got very little "race practice" Bob had a perfect start with his Backlash. nailed a start in lane 2 in a full throttle, getting a 1/4 lap lead that he hung on for a win. I was his lucky pit man T&C did get some racing in then engine problems knocked C-out T had to run his .12 JAE Zippkit in the .21 class against Tim the wind was a issue. Not to mention HOT steamy temps. Today we has wind & heat . My cat did a big air flip on the back side and got nailed back to back. Follow the leaded style. Damage is minimal. I hope. rudder looked like a dog leg. Bob brings out his Vector every 4th of July to win a trophy. Then back on the shelf till next season. Gas sport hydro was crazy ,seen some nasty damage to more than one hull.

What I would do with your .67 rigger is bring it to Stony Pond and run the **** out of it. Practice, practice, and practice.
What were the heat sizes for Gas Sport Hydro?

RE: Central NEW YORK boaters
Thanks C You should get a award for vids and pics You were really tough to hang in their with the weather like it was. It took a toll on me too. I melted like wax. Both of the heats shown were top driving by SPMBC. Ric got better as the weekend got longer. I believe his engine was almost NIB so, his engine got stronger as the weekend lasted. Dick was rock steady driving his home built T-Boat to 2nd place ,with Ricks T-Boat coming in 3rd place. Bob ended up 2nd to Randy then Rick for 3rd place in GSH. I was driving and my SGX started to do some bad moves the CD yelled watch out for the wild boat. I thought who's the wild driver,OH it's me. []

RE: Central NEW YORK boaters
Sounds like some good placings for SPMBC. I checked out the results on rcracingevent.com.
What happened with the SP 20 hydro boats? Engine issues or driving issues?
I think I might plant some of these trees on the south/east corner.

Up to 50 feet in 5 years! A continued effort to create a wind and neighbor block....

Are you guys going to the next Elmira race, July 20th I think?
What size rudder are you running? Looks like a speedmaster rudder bracket. I like how you made it a side tub mount. Good job! [8D] I'm doing the same on my JAE 45, but still not sure what size rudder I need. I have a few options.
The boy scouts will be camping all weekend at Stony Pond the weekend of July 20th.
I'm going to the Elmira race. Will run 20 tunnel and 20 hydro. I need to put the O.S. powerhead back on the tunnel as the NR never got broken-in.....
I ordered 6 Royal Empress trees to try out. Will be an interesting tree to watch grow. Suppose to be the fastest growing tree in the world. An invasive tree in some warmer states. Our colder winters keep it under control from what I have read. Plus species Elongata, which I ordered, is suppose to not be invasive, but it's a big controversy on the web....

Yes that rudder bracket will help to keep your rudder away from the prop. What props are you going to run? After seeing Tim run his twin I'm not going down that road. this year Having a hard time with a 67 rigger's speed just me

RE: Central NEW YORK boaters
I still plan on a twin .80, hopefully next season.
I hope to see Tim's twin in Ottawa. [8D]
Not sure I'll be able to drive at those speeds, but I suspect my JAE 45 will get me a little closer to twin speeds.... Once I get back from camping, I need to get that boat done! I suspect it's first race will be in Ottawa. I hope.....

The Royal Empress is a funny looking tree when young. 5 months old, planted as a small plant. These usually come in a 1 gallon pot from the online nurseries.

Tom,
Really nice job on this..
Your rigger should be a monster - bright colors will help to keep it in sight!! Oh! I forgot - painting was your livelyhood..

RE: Central NEW YORK boaters
Neil - thanks for the info on the fuel filters. Just ordered from John Otto.
Craig, we won't be making the next Elmira race - it's the same weekend as the Syracuse Nationals. We were planning on trying out the twin on Sunday, the 21st - but will wait till the following weekend due to the boy scout camp! Will give us more time to make sure everything is set on the twin.
Plan on going to the pond this Sunday with the gas rigger and to try and break in the NR on the 20.

RE: Central NEW YORK boaters
I have a spinal cord stimulator implanted for a week to see if I like it, Yes I do. I test the implant for a week then put in permanently at a later date. No bending, lifting stretching or reaching ,No shower for 1 week.Scratchy as hell So I'm home doing nothing. I do have work to do on my hulls I better wait -going to be close for the next race. I have plenty to do. After the Hamilton disaster. nothing ran good or ran at all. I may run just 3 hulls due to no testing this weekend.
