Default Mean Green Hot Shot 2 w 7.5

When I first recieved this boat it was some kind of ugly. It was partially built by a troll w/ only thumbs and needed some serious sanding time and tlc . I finished her a few months back and now its hotter than 40 hells outside it time to finish setting her up

My brother has the same boat and motor. His motor is piped, however. Runs really well. Can handle a little wave action too. Gotta ask, are those 4 magnets that hold thecowl down?

the magnets are rare earth magnets from harbour frieght . At first I just had the rear two but added the front two for a really good SNAP shut. I drilled out some square dowel I had and then epoxied them in I made a sharpie mark on opposing magnet sides to get polarity right

Very nice. It's a good running hull even for Dumas(actually, that's all we run except for a VS1)..... I showed my brother your magnet setup, we both thought it was a great idea.... Never would have thought of it....
