Default Where to find glow fuel?

I am trying to find a source of glow fuel at a reasonable price (less than $40/gallon). Does anyone have any leads?

Thanks,
Mark

Mix it yourself. It is not hard. Finding nitromethane can be difficult in some locations, but start at your local drag strip. Most sell it to racers, if not make a deal to buy a few gallons from a fuel team when they open a drum. Methanol is easy to find, as is oil.

Ritches Brew. Made in Houston. Order 20 cases and the price goes lower. I've been using it exclusively for over 20 years.

Guys make sure you try your LHS. I was surprised to see it at 30 a gallon but I haven't seen 40 yet.

Graves RC in Orlando, $12.50 a gallon is all I pay when LHS near me are $25-$27 for the same brand and nitro content. It's a 90 mile drive for me to get there, so I bring home a couple of cases to keep the number of trips down. I suggest on your next FL vacation, skip the sea shells and Mickey Mouse tourist stuff and bring back a couple of gallons.

Some photos on Yelp show what other things they have to offer. Not many hobby shops can compare. I pass a lot of them along the way.

Ritches Hobbies is in Houston next to I-10. A hobbyshop owned by avid modelers. Same deal; save on shipping by buying a few cases when you are in the area.

This.

I'm a big fan of my local hobby shop. Unfortunately it is a 45 minute drive...

Best prices I got on fuel was when a group of us bought into a 20-case purchase. The best price was seen when all the fuel was the same. Last order, several years ago was 20 cases of 5% nitro and 20% synthetic. Cost $7.50 a gallon and a 1$ per gallon for shipping. Got it from Ritches Hobbies in Houston. A friend of mine bought from Morgan fuels and purchased 55 gallon drums as a club project.

Think big and you can get better prices.

I bought a case of 10% from Sig, but it was close to 40 a gallon. i can get a gallon of Nitromethane shipped for $95, methane for $10 a gallon local, and oil is about $10 as well. i considered mixing my own, and probably will, though i am leaning towards future planes and builds being large enough for a 15-20cc gas engine. i personally do not like electric, except for the small park flyers, and i never fly the two i have.
